Access Courses for Higher Education

These are one-year courses designed for people from the age of 19 who have not followed an A level or equivalent course and do not have the usual entry requirements for a university course. There are no formal entry requirements with the exception of the Access to Medicine course.

The following courses are available at colleges in East Sussex and Brighton & Hove or within easy travelling distance for those living close to the Kent or West Sussex border. One course at Chichester is included because it is unique.
