We will respect everyone's opinion.
- Everyone's opinion matters and will be taken into account
- You will be able to ask us if there is something you don't understand.
We will listen and act on your feedback.
- If you wish to make a complaint or compliment about the service we will tell you how to do so
- We will listen to your feedback and tell you how and when we will act on it.
We will provide you with the information you require.
- Connexions staff will be available to you in schools, colleges, work places and through other services for young people
- We will help you with any decisions you need to make about your future.
We will give you support and guidance.
- We will offer you support in approaching other organisations or services
- We will provide you with help with problems or just someone to talk to who will listen
- Our support will always be open, friendly, non-judgemental and reliable.
We will look after your safety.
- You will be safe from harm working with Connexions staff.
We will keep our discussions with you private as far as the law allows.
- If you have asked that the information you give us remains confidential, we will respect your request unless we have told you that the law says we are unable to do so.
We will involve young people in our service.
- We will offer all young people aged 13-19 the opportunity to be involved in the planning, running and evaluation of the Connexions service.
Services to parents or guardians of young people in schools and colleges.
- The service is for all young people and their families - family members will be able to call on the services as well as young people themselves. It will be available for all young people including the most able and for those who are broadly on track but who may need help with particular problems. However, it will give particular priority for those who are at risk of disadvantage.
