• Plumpton College taster course guides for 2008/9 are now available for taster days at Plumpton College and at Ivyland Farm, Netherfield near Battle, East Sussex
• They are an ideal introduction to the courses at the College
• Taster courses are free to school student in years 10/11
• Plumpton College is one of the few colleges which offer taster courses, especially free
• Transport is available free to taster courses participants from the train stations at Lewes and Battle
• Taster courses help with the student's college applications, interview, cv etc
•  Plumpton College main site also offers a free lunch to students on the taster courses.
• They are an ideal introduction to Plumpton College and its ethos
• They also introduce the parents and school careers staff to the College's courses provision

• The College provides a wide range of exciting programs for those wishing to work in the rural industries. Taster days are designed to give pupils in years 10 and 11 an insight into the courses available at the College

• The taster days provide students with an opportunity to spend a day experiencing the subject of choice

• Attending a taster day will make it easier for a student to make a decision about a  future study and career. Some taster days (agriculture and rural pathways) are also available at Plumpton College at Netherfield Centre, near Battle in East Sussex

• During the taster days there will be an opportunity for the student to discuss any questions with a member of staff and also to discuss a possible career in subjects that are of interest

• Taster days are held 3 times per year, usually coinciding with half terms. They are very popular and early applications are advised

• The next taster days are on Monday 27 October -Thursday 30 October 2008
